Celebrating our 30th anniversary

On March 17, a spectacular evening party was organized to celebrate our 30th anniversary, together with our valuable partners, staff, and closed friends.

2018 is a milestone year for us to celebrate this important achievement. It is not only a time for celebration but more importantly, a chance to express our thankfulness to all customers, business partners as well as the entire Greensboro team for the support and efforts to the company.

We look forward to working together continuously to build a better business environment for many more years to come.

Greensboro Solution Day

November 20, 2017

On 20 November 2017, Greensboro organized a solution day at HKMA with presentations for selected products and booths introducing all the opentext products carrying by the company. The turnout of visitors by invitation was unexpectedly high and all being taken care to walk through the products that they were interested. Feedback from visitors has encouraged the Greensboro team to organize more event of this kind so that channels are available for the customers and interested parties to communicate directly with the service provider and even to the vendor.

Open Text eDOCS Customer Workshop highlight

November 9, 2017

On 9 November 2017, Greensboro hosted the eDOCS workshop at HKMA and with the support from the opentext eDOCS team, the Director Sales Mr. George Harb and the VP Professional Service Mr. Marc St. Pierre came from Australia and Canada respectively and took part in the presentation. Attendants from various existing users and customers who are interested in the product raised questions directly to the opentext team for first-hand information and most updated roadmap. The event brought with high potential leads and follow-up communications by the Greensboro team with the visitors.

OpenText Enterprise World 2017

July 10-13, Metro Toronto Centre, Toronto, Canada

A team of 4 including technical and management members joined the event of which features customized tracks to meet the individual needs of all attendees in specific uses and applications of OpenText EIM platform, highlighting Customer Experience Management, Business Network, Enterprise Content Management, Business Process Management, Analytics and Discovery.

Apart from taking part in various training courses, the Greensboro team has met up with different counterparties to build up direct communications and contacts, forming an effective network to equip better for forthcoming businesses.

In October of 2016, Mr. Nel visited Greensboro as when the partnership on Documentum was first established. After understanding the full history and the past references in enterprise solutions done by Greensboro, both parties are confident in building the market with mutual contributions and efforts. Greensboro agreed to explore through their huge customer base to identify potential customers for the product and start visiting by the sales team, while OpenText undertakes to equip both the technical and sales teams for pre-sales and sales/ marketing actions. In view of the marketing situation at the time that it may be difficult to set a target, yet both sides have no doubt in working hard for good achievements for the coming months.

Macau Marketing Event

October 26, 2015

Macau is a market that we have never put behind our minds. We joined the 20th Macau International Trade and Investment Fair from 22-25 October 2015 supported by two of our vendors with positive feedback and enquiries. Although the town impresses everyone that dominant business is only gaming in casinos, yet reflected from the visitors on site, apparently other fields of business are on the way trying to chase up for the market share.

Greensboro Company Trip

September 27, 2015

For the 2015 annual company day, after tough months of hard work in the year, we decided to let the colleagues have real relaxation, stopped the usual annual training and went to Taiwan for good food and good sceneries on 27 September 2015. Having enjoyed really good sunshine and tastes for the first couple of days, the super typhoon came on the day of our departure making us staying behind there for one more day. But of course no complain from anyone at all since it was the first time we could keep going out in town under unbelievably strong wind visiting the underground shops and restaurants. Really good fun and colleagues already started working out for the trip of the following year.

Award for 2015

On 4 March, we joined the OpenText Partner Day at Singapore during which Greensboro was awarded with the Best Seller Award again for the Asia Pacific region of the year. This was an acknowledgement to the hard work done by the team. It could not be denied that the market was not good at that period at all, yet the efforts made by the staff members yielded with remarkable results, and we all shared the encouraging moment.

A cooking class was organized before the Chinese New Year. With the support of one of the famous cooks in town, Mr. Walter Kei, the class took place at his kitchen and focused in the art of how to cook abalone. All participants have enjoyed so much bringing home not only the know-how but also cooked abalones.
